Evisa Simpson is a children’s author, mother of three imaginative daughters, and a lifelong storyteller who believes in the power of giggles, bedtime snuggles, and the magic tucked inside ordinary moments.
Born in the snowy countryside of Latvia, Evisa fell in love with storytelling curled up beside her grandmother, listening to bedtime tales as snowflakes whispered against the window. Those quiet, cozy nights became treasured memories—and the spark that lit her own storytelling journey.
With over 20 years in the aviation industry, Evisa has spent much of her life soaring above the clouds. But it’s the joyful chaos of her home life—sneaking cookies, reading by nightlight, and dreaming up adventures with her daughters—that truly fuels her imagination.
Her stories blend warmth, humor, and emotional honesty, often inspired by real-life parenting moments. From a missing cookie to a scribbled wall or a grumpy hedgehog, Evisa finds magic in the messiness of childhood. Her books gently explore big feelings and little lessons, helping children feel seen, heard, and loved.
Evisa is the creator of the Tippy Taps Elf’s Stories series—a whimsical collection of festive picture books for ages 4–8, filled with humor, heart, and North Pole mischief. She’s also the author of standalone titles like Burble and Mr. Pufferton, each featuring lovable characters and timeless messages that resonate with young readers and grown-ups alike.
